Eurosyn and Santanol Announce New Distribution Deal for the Italian Market

Eurosyn, leading supplier of specialty chemicals in Italy, and Santanol, a global leader in the production and supply of Santalum album oil and its derivative products, are excited to announce their new distribution partnership for the Italian market. This collaboration brings together Eurosyn’s extensive industry expertise and Santanol’s high-quality Sandalwood products to meet the growing demand in Italy.

Santanol has a rich history that dates back to the late 1990s when the Forestry Department of Western Australia embarked on a conservation program to grow East Indian Sandalwood trees. Through years of research and development, Santanol has successfully developed methods to help Indian Sandalwood adapt and thrive under Australian climate conditions. Today, Santanol is recognized as a global leader in Santalum album oil production, with commercial scale plantations spanning 1,800 hectares in Kununurra, Western Australia.

In 2016, Santanol established a state-of-the-art oil distillation factory in Perth, further solidifying its position as a leading producer and supplier of Santalum album oil and its derivative products. With certifications in Quality Assurance, Occupational Health Safety, and Environmental Protection, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015, Santanol ensures the highest standards of quality and sustainability. Santanol is ranked Ecovadis Gold and is a UEBT member which demonstrates Santanol’s commitment to assessing its sourcing policies and practices in Australia in accordance with ethical principles and to promote positive impacts for biodiversity and local communities.

We are thrilled to partner with Santanol and bring their premium Santalum album products to the Italian market,” said Enrico Campana, CEO at Eurosyn. “Santanol’s dedication to quality and sustainability aligns perfectly with our values and our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers. We believe this collaboration will provide significant value and innovation to the industry.”

Eurosyn, active on the Italian market since 1983, brings extensive industry experience and a strong network of manufacturers and clients. Over the years, Eurosyn has evolved its operational model to meet the growing expectations of manufacturers by offering logistics support, formulative assistance, and regulatory expertise.

« We are excited to enter this partnership with Eurosyn for the distribution of our Indian sandalwood on Italian market”, said Holly Birch, Managing Director at Santanol. “Eurosyn expertise in cosmetic markets is a perfect fit to address customers’ demanding request promoting the scientifically proven benefits of our sandalwood album essential oil.”

The new distribution deal between Eurosyn and Santanol will enable Italian manufacturers to access Santanol’s high-quality Santalum album oil and derivative products.
